Reviews
The vodka pasta was something else. Definitely a signature dish sublimely tasty. The vegeterian lasagna was very tasty as well but maybe not my style but my husband loved it. I had a local sparkling white wine very delicious. The dish that urged me to give four stars instead of five was the chocolate cake which was nothing special but more like a brownie. Anything else was beautiful. The staff very friendly as well. I also liked the fact they have English menus.
Great service and they took the time to explain each dish on the degustacion in English. Would highly recommend, great food and wine selection too! Was situated in a pretty quiet area of the city center but very special ambiance and service.
We are foreigners from America so this was our experience: we went in and the host (or fellow operating the cash register) was very friendly. BIG fellow. He was very happy to help and spoke English. He got us to our table promptly and our server was a different guy. This gentlemen speaker just enough English to help us. He was friendly and had great recommendations for food. The food was surprisingly quick. The atmosphere was great and seemed authentic as well. It was far enough off the beaten path (which we like) that it wasn’t crazy busy at 9/10pm (which is “normal” time for supper , around here, you’ll find.) We would recommend this place to anybody. My wife was pleased and even like the white wine (she hates every wine in America lol.) I told the server it was “dealers choice” for what to serve me. The (homemade) ice cream dessert was to die for!
Great restaurant, warm atmosphere, and fantastic food. Traditional Bologna food on offer but also some very different dishes - eg we had 7 bird risotto, lamb offal sausages and rabbit roulade. Front of house were 1st class, very welcoming and helped our choices. For those who like their wine, the list was also very extensive, ranging from 25 euros to 1000 (including pages of champagne and prosecco). We went for local circa 35 euro bottle that was more than adequate. Would recommend
Overall a great restaurant to have both traditional food and modern food, great quality of the ingredients and good service.
I might have had too high expectations before coming but I wasn’t blown away by the modern options in the menu, despite all being of the highest quality.
It would also be nice to see some more vegetarian options.
I will probably come again and I can recommend it.
One of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure at eating at. Vodka wagon wheels was sensational. Highly recommend.
Very nice restaurant with an authentic italian vibe. We had no reservations but they manage to find a table for us. The food was very good. They have a huge wine selection. The dessert was only ok but the rest of the food was very good.
We had a wonderful dinner here which we reserved online through the Italian app the Fork. The tables were nicely spaced and the room was nicely decorated with some paper art hanging from the ceiling that also helps to dampen the noise from hard surfaces. Our server was charming and friendly, as was the restaurant manager. Everything was delicious, we wanted to try everything and we left completely stuffed. The cotoletta is huge and a bit challenging if you’re not starving, we probably overdid it with the appetizers.
